Sam Johnson
He was a young man, with a young family. Heralding from the Naval Arch side of the community, most will have known him through his professional work as Engineering Superintendent at Point Hope Shipyards in Victoria.
He was heavily involved in the Vancouver Island Branch of the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering, and his absence will be felt.
My deepest condolences to his family.
Here, Sam, as the Chair of the MariTech18 Organizing Committee addresses the committee at the wrap up meeting at Sam's home in Victoria.
