I am recruiting for a major player in the Dredging world, who are looking for several Engineers to join their fleet of specialized Dredgers and Dredging Support Vessels to act as Sole/Chief Engineer on board.

This is an exciting opportunity to 'test the waters' with a contract period paying a day rate, that will move into a permanent job if everybody is happy.

To begin with, I am offering between £242 - 373 per day subject to UK tax. This would be the day rate for 1/2 trips (2 week rotations) then the permanent position would be considered. Please note, this rate bracket is because of license held and size of vessel so will be discussed upon interview as to what would be the best rate for you.

You would be interviewed for the permanent position before you joined in the contract role, for ease of transition if all goes well!

The permanent salary will be discussed upon interview.

I can consider candidates who have:

- Experience sailing as 2nd Engineer/Chief Engineer on vessels ranging from 200 - 4000 tonnes. Dredging experience is a bonus!
- The UK right to work is essential, we will not be able to consider candidates without it!
- Availability to interview and to join in July
- Valid Engineer CoC + updated certification + Medical
