inaccuracies in study guide?

Hi all

I'd like to start off by saying the study guides at https://www.dieselduck.info/library/ below are of immense help in preparation for higher licences.
Thank you Martin Leduc!.

I was going through the applied mechanics 1st class question paper and then looking at solutions. There are a lot of discrepancies, not mistakes in calculation but more like question mentions coefficient of restitution as 0.8 but solution is done with 0.08 and that gives the right answer.

I am wondering if similar issues can occur during the TC exam.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks

Interesting observation. I haven't heard this feedback before. These are very old questions, and not my original work, i've just made them accessible. Last i heard they still in the question bank used at Transport Canada. However, the exams are corrected individually from what I understand, so i believe there is leeway there, maybe why I have not heard specifics. Hence the importance of "showing the work" - then the error is more obvious - and has probably been rectified at their end.
