The@Sea programmes have over 2,000 registered students, with nearly 25% being recommended to the programme by friends or colleagues, around 8% being supported by their companies. and more than 15% come as a result of Marine Society sponsorship aimed at ratings seeking advancement to officer.

The Seatrade Awards, now in their 28th year, are a prestigious industry event. More than 300 people gathered for the dinner in the Guildhall in the City of London on Friday May 6th, with the keynote speech being made by the IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim.
